For those looking for a quicker and convenient way to get around, consider using the Divvy bikes available in the neighborhood. You can find Divvy bike stations within a 3-minute walk from the house on Chicago Ave or Damen Ave. Hop on a bike and explore the neighborhood with ease, enjoying the fresh air and scenic streets. Parking in West Town/Ukrainian Village is relatively manageable compared to other parts of the city. There’s free street parking right in front of the property, on a first-come basis. Our property has complimentary enclosed parking on-premises. This provides you with peace of mind knowing that your vehicle is safely parked during your stay. When it comes to getting in and out of your accommodation, you'll find a lockbox on the patio tail to the right of the front door. The lockbox contains the key for your stay, granting you access to the front door of the building, the unit door is a keyless code. The 4-digit code to unlock the lockbox and the unit doors will be sent to you separately. Upon entering the building, the unit is conveniently located as the first door on the right. In addition to walking and using Divvy bikes, you can also utilize buses and trains to get around the neighborhood and explore downtown Chicago. Buses: There are several bus routes that can take you to downtown Chicago from the West Town/Ukrainian Village neighborhood. You can check the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) website or use a transit app to find the most convenient bus routes and schedules. Bus stops are typically located within walking distance from the house, making it easy to access public transportation. Trains: To access downtown Chicago and other parts of the city, you can also utilize the train system. The nearest train station is usually the Chicago Blue Line station, which is located a short distance from the neighborhood. From there, you can take the Blue Line train downtown or connect to other train lines for further exploration. The CTA website or a transit app will provide you with the most up-to-date train schedules and routes. Using buses and trains not only allows you to conveniently reach downtown Chicago, but it also provides you with an opportunity to experience the city's public transportation system and enjoy the sights along the way. Whether you prefer the scenic route on foot, the convenience of a bike, or the efficiency of buses and trains, there are plenty of options available to make your exploration of the neighborhood and downtown Chicago a breeze. During your stay, it's important to treat the accommodation as if it were your own home. Please place trash in the designated trash bins located next to the garage in the alley. Adjust the HVAC to a comfortable 72 degrees before you leave. Wet or dirty towels should be placed in the bathtub to keep the space tidy.
